Priya Velu, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and associate director of the Molecular Pathology Laboratory at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine. She received her doctorate and medical degree from University of California San Diego and completed her Clinical Pathology residency training and Molecular and Genomic Pathology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical interests include cancer genomics, infectious disease molecular testing, and machine learning applications in molecular genomics.
