    Erica Vormittag-Nocito is a board certified AP/CP Pathologist with board certification in the Molecular Pathology subspeciality. After her training at the University of Illionis and University of Michigan, she was the medical director of the Diagnostic Molecular Biology Laboratory at Northwestern University for 2.5 years prior to taking her current position as the Medical Director adn CLIA license holder for the Illinois Central laboraotry for the Advocate Health System. in this role, she oversees the Molecular, Cytogenetics, Histology, Microbiology, Core Laboratory, and Special Coagulation operations for the Illinois region of the Advocate Health System. She also plays central role in the development of the precision medicine laboratory strategy and intatives for the Avocate Health System. She is also an Assistant Professor at Wake Forrest University and is an active participant in AMP and CAP committees.
