Dr. Tjota is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology, Laboratory of Genomic and Molecular Pathology at the University of Chicago Medicine. Her clinical duties focus on design, validation, and analysis of molecular testing for somatic variants. Dr. Tjota received a BA in biochemical sciences from Harvard University. She earned an MD and PhD from the University of Chicago. She completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Chicago as well as a fellowship in molecular genetic pathology through the joint program between the University of Chicago and NorthShore University HealthSystem.
