Dr. Dong is the Associate Director of Molecular Pathology at Stanford Health Care. He completed anatomic pathology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and molecular pathology fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He has extensive experience in the clinical interpretation of high complexity molecular test results for patients with cancer. His research involves the clinical implementation of laboratory developed molecular tests to improve diagnosis and patient care. Dr. Dong has served on committees for the Association for Molecular Pathology, the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute, and the College of American Pathologists and serves on the editorial boards of multiple academic journals, including the Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, the Journal of Molecular Diagnostics, and Modern Pathology.
