Dr. Li is a molecular pathologist and experimental pathologist specializing in the development of clinical gene variation detection methods and tumor microenvironment research. She has a keen interest in PCR and high-resolution melting technologies. Using these technologies, she has developed rapid detection strategies that enable the swift detection of fusion genes, deletions/insertions, and point mutations in specific gene targets for targeted therapies. Additionally, she has developed a self-annealing PCR method to create reference materials for specific fusion gene fragments, applicable in fusion gene detection, gene amplification detection, and more. Her primary goal is to establish a fast, low-cost, accurate, and flexible gene variation detection strategy to support precision diagnosis and treatment. Another focus of her research is studying the tumor microenvironment in vivo and in vitro, particularly in tumors with various driver mutations.
