Senior Computational Biologist I

Scott Eckert is a Sr. Computational Biologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is a member of the Clinical Bioinformatics Team in the Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine. Before joining the team at MSKCC in 2022, he obtained his PhD in Bioinformatics and Genomics at Penn State University. Beyond clinical sample review for MSK-IMPACT and MSK-ACCESS, Dr. Eckert's work focuses on the detection of somatic copy number alterations in cancer using next-generation sequencing (NGS), machine learning, and algorithm development.
