Cheryl Sesler, MS, is the Associate Director of Research at Decode Health, Inc., where she leads translational research initiatives integrating total RNA sequencing, machine learning, and bioinformatics to identify blood-based biomarkers for acute and chronic diseases. She has more than a decade of experience spanning molecular diagnostics, product development, and clinical validation of laboratory-developed tests and in vitro diagnostic medical devices. Prior to joining Decode Health, Cheryl managed assay and product development teams at Eurofins ARCA Technology, contributing to the design and validation of novel microfluidic platforms and diagnostic assays. Her work has been published in The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics, The Journal of Applied Laboratory Medicine, and npj Parkinson’s Disease, and she has co-authored several patent applications in multiplex PCR technologies. Cheryl holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences (Cell and Molecular Biology) from the University of Tennessee at Martin and an M.S. in Biology (Molecular Microbiology) from Jacksonville State University.
