Genomic Technologist II
Dartmouth Health
Brandon A. Bowers is a Genomic Technologist II at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where he specializes in next-generation sequencing workflows, nucleic acid extraction, and library preparation for clinical and research applications. Brandon holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology with a minor in Biochemistry.
Prior to joining Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Brandon served a role in quality assurance and workflow optimization for the liquid profiling department at Caris Life Sciences, enhancing efficiency and throughput in high-volume oncology molecular testing. While at Caris Life Sciences, he played a role in training technologists in buffy coat and cell-free DNA extractions, library preparation, and next generation sequencing using Illumina based platforms. He also contributed to the validation of digital MLPA (dMLPA) at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, supporting the expansion of high-resolution copy number analysis for clinical use.
