Dr. Zhengchun Lu is a Molecular Genetics Fellow at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). She received her medical degree in China, earned her PhD in Virology from the University of Kentucky, and completed postdoctoral training at Cornell University. She then pursued residency training at OHSU, where she will stay on as faculty after fellowship graduation as the Molecular Microbiology Medical Director.
With expertise in virology, molecular diagnostics, and clinical pathology, Dr. Lu has dedicated her career to studying human viruses and developing innovative diagnostic technologies. Her research interests include understanding viral diseases at the population level and advancing AI-assisted tools to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
