Eunhae Oh, Ph.D., is an R&D researcher with over 20 years of experience in biotechnology, specializing in molecular diagnostics and point-of-care (POC) diagnostic system development. She currently serves as a Principal Researcher at iGENETECH Inc. in Korea, where she leads infectious disease assay development projects.
Dr. Oh earned her Ph.D. in Biological and Chemical Engineering from Seoul National University in 2014 and conducted postdoctoral research at McGill University and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).
Since 2019, she has led the development of various diagnostic systems across both industrial and startup environments—from Seegene, a leading Korean molecular diagnostics company, to the early-stage biotech venture iGENETECH. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed government-funded R&D programs, contributed to the development of CE-marked diagnostic kits, and played a key role in advancing fully automated molecular diagnostic platforms and disposable cartridges.
