Leandro is Head of Genomics at the MHRA. He holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from Imperial College and conducted postdoctoral research at the Sanger Institute, investigating genetic vulnerabilities to enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy drugs. Leandro joined the MHRA in 2017 and his work supports the advancement of liquid biopsy for cancer early diagnosis and post-treatment surveillance.
