Jennifer Bowling is a clinical microbiologist with a passion for education and improving communication and collaboration between physicians, the laboratory, and public health. She has 5 years of experience working as a generalist Medical Technologist and 8 years of research experience with BSL3 pathogens. She completed her Microbiology training at the National Institute of Health where she discovered a novel dimorphic Mucor species. Dr. Bowling joined the Albany Medical Center as the Director of Microbiology and Molecular Diagnostics in July of 2024.
