Dr. Eugenio Daviso is the Vice President of Solutions at Covaris, a role he assumed in September 2022 after serving as the company's Director of Applications and Scientific Support since 2018. Dr. Daviso is a seasoned scientist and leader with deep expertise in biophysics, physical chemistry, genomics, and proteomics. He earned a Master of Science from the University of Turin and pursued an extensive series of postdoctoral research appointments at prestigious institutions, including the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Radboud University Nijmegen, Brandeis University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Before joining Covaris, his industry experience included a position as Principal Scientist at T2 Biosystems. At Covaris, he provides scientific leadership for developing innovative solutions in genomics and proteomics workflows, particularly in the field of oncology. He has a strong publication record in proteomics, genomics, and method development, having authored 28 peer-reviewed articles and 5 patents as of 2025. In addition to his published work, he maintains a significant and active presence at scientific conferences, where he frequently presents his research.
