Dr. Alex Li is currently a Gastrointestinal Pathology fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, followed by subspecialty training in Molecular Genetic Pathology. Her academic and clinical interests lie at the intersection of gastrointestinal pathology and molecular diagnostics, particularly in the application of next-generation sequencing and genomic biomarkers to gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary malignancies.
Dr. Li’s ongoing work focuses on integrating morphologic, immunohistochemical, and molecular data to enhance diagnostic accuracy and precision oncology decision-making.
Outside of pathology, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and exploring the outdoor and culinary offerings of Northern California.
