Dr. Jillene M. Kogan, MD, PhD, FACMG is a Clinical Laboratory Director of Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics at Advocate Health ACL Laboratories and a clinical geneticist at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital specializing in both pediatric and adult genetics. She received her medical degree and PhD degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics/Medical Genetics, her fellowship in Clinical Cytogenetics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and her Laboratory Genetics and Genomics Molecular training at ACL. Dr. Kogan is ABMGG board-certified in Clinical Genetics and Genomics and Laboratory Genetics and Genomics. Dr. Kogan has authored many publications related to clinical and laboratory genetics in various medical journals. Her interests include chromosome, FISH, and microarray analysis, as well as molecular genetic testing for both constitutional and oncology applications.
