I am a senior clinical genomics scientist and team lead with more than ten years of experience in germline and somatic variant classification and gene curation following professional guidelines (ACMG, AMP, ClinGen, VICC) in a CLIA/CAP diagnostic laboratory. I have a proven track record of leading development and validation of variant classification workflow and point-based gene curation workbench. I have extensive experience with genomic data from multiple platforms and genetic evidence from clinical trials, literature and databases. I have experience with clinical diagnostic whole exome/genome sequencing analysis and reporting. I hold a PhD in Genetics from the University of Iowa. I have track record of impactful research with 20+ peer-reviewed publications and experience as an invited journal reviewer.
