Zahid Ahmed is a passionate scientist currently working as a Senior Applications Scientist at Roche Diagnostics. He has experience in troubleshooting, customer technical case handling, proof of principle testing, and performing next generation sequencing (NGS) along with qPCR and digital PCR testing. In addition, Zahid also has several years of experience in clinical laboratory science working in the molecular pathology, immunology, and clinical chemistry lab. With spending more than 5 years in the molecular pathology lab, he has a passion to help advance science, diagnostics, and help improve cancer detection. Zahid has practical experience in the field of primer extension and probe based target enrichment, methylation, cfDNA testing, NGS automation, and NGS data analysis.
