ProPath
Christiane Calderon is the Lead Research Laboratory Technician at ProPath. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Dallas, where she developed a passion for research while studying protein–anion interactions under Dr. Sheel Dodani. At ProPath, Christiane contributes to a wide range of projects across the laboratory, from IHC assay development to coordinating lab services for clinical trials. A key area of her focus is advancing diagnostics in women’s healthcare, including digital cytology and evaluating the performance of existing assays at ProPath. Christiane is dedicated to the belief that every department and team member plays a vital role in providing quality patient care. Through her work on ProPath’s Continuous Improvement Committee, she helps bridge gaps between areas of the lab, fostering collaboration and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes. She is deeply motivated by the potential of research to transform laboratory medicine and improve the care patients receive. Outside of the lab, Christiane enjoys visiting local coffee shops and record stores, taking walks with her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
