Dr Radhakrishna Bettadapura, first studied engineering as an undergrad at RV College of Engineering in Bangalore, and earned a Masters of mechanical engineering at the University of Texas in Austin, where he continued on and earned his PhD in Computational Biology and Mechanical Engineering. He has worked in GPU-CPU implementations of bioinformatic algorithms to accelerate compute. He joined Strand Life Sciences over 13 years ago as a senior software engineer, and has held roles as Director of Bioinformatics, Senior Director and then VP of Business Development, and is presently the Vice President of Research Informatics at Strand.
