Suvi Savola, PhD (corresponding author) is specialised in molecular cancer genetics in both research and diagnostic setting. Her team is focused on implementing new scientific discoveries into novel molecular genetic tools for improving cancer patient care, especially by using MLPA technique. She works in close collaboration with academic laboratories, institutes and hospitals worldwide.
Sander Palit, PhD (presenting author) focuses on developing new and updating existing MLPA and digitalMLPA probemixes for the detection of CNAs and selected mutations associated with cancer. The most recent project Sander has worked on, which he will also present at the AMP meeting with a poster, is the digitalMLPA probemix D024 KaryoProfiler.
