My name is Dr. Joseph C. Salem and I have been an R&D Scientist III at Maine Molecular Quality Controls Inc (MMQCI) for the past 9 years. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut and my PhD in Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology from Penn State University. At MMQCI, I design and develop quality controls for use in inherited disease and infectious disease testing.
