Dr. Lynne S. Rosenblum, PhD, FACMG is board certified by the ABMGG in Clinical Cytogenetics and Clinical Molecular Genetics. She earned her PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology at the University at Albany (SUNY). She completed her postdoctoral work at the Howard Hughs Medical Institute at the University of Pennsylvania and her fellowship in Clinical Cytogenetics and Clinical Molecular Genetics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Early in her career Dr. Rosenblum held an academic appointment in the Oncology and Pathology departments at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and then spent more than 20 years as a Clinical Lab Director at Genzyme and Labcorp’s Integrated Genetics division. In 2023 she joined the faculty of the Pathology Department at Wake Forest University School of Medicine where she is an Associate Professor and the Section Head for Molecular Pathology and Genetics. Dr. Rosenblum has published numerous articles related to cytogenetic abnormalities, genetic testing, and carrier screening. She is clinical director for her laboratory sections, oversees the cytogenetics curriculum for Wake Forest medical students and pathology residents, serves as a CAP inspector, and is an active member of several national and international professional organizations.
