Mariam Ashraf is a Scientist for the NGS Product Development R&D group at QIAGEN. She earned her Master’s degree in Biomedical Science from Hood College where she did work on biofuel production via microbial models. At QIAGEN, her research centers on the development and optimization of targeted sequencing assays. Currently, her work focuses on advancing multimodal sequencing solutions to improve variant detection accuracy and clinical utility in oncology.
