Justin Ng is a Staff Scientist at Clear Labs, where he leads programs spanning scientific, regulatory, medical and clinical affairs to advance infectious disease genomics, oncogenomics and next-generation sequencing automation. He oversees cross-functional initiatives that integrate intellectual property management, regulatory strategy, and external partnerships - bridging science, operations, and compliance to accelerate innovation.
At Clear Labs, Justin manages the company’s intellectual property portfolio, spearheads FDA and IVDR submission planning, grant proposal writing and directs multimillion-dollar public health research contracts. He also drives cross-sector collaborations with government agencies, academic institutions, and industry partners to translate genomic technologies into practical diagnostic solutions.
Prior to joining Clear Labs, he served as Senior Clinical Program Manager at Tychan, where he successfully led multiple first-in-human clinical trials for emerging viral diseases, including Zika, Yellow Fever, and SARS-CoV-2. He also contributed to national genomic surveillance efforts at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Justin holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Immunogenetics from the University of Sydney and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). His career blends scientific rigor with strategic leadership - driving the integration of research, regulation, and innovation in advancing global health, infectious disease and oncology diagnostics.
