I am basically a hematopathologist as well as a medical professor, working in a university hospital in Korea. I do make a morphological diagnosis of hematological disorders, looking at peripheral blood smears, bone marrow aspiration & biopsy, signing out the coagulation test profiles. I also work on cytogenetic diagnosis and mutation profiles related to hematologic diseases.
I have been serving as a member for ISCN 2013, 2016, 2020 and 2024 Standing Committee, representing Asia. I am basically a hematopathologist and a cytogeneticist as well as a medical professor, working in a university hospital in Korea.
I am a current Board Member of International Society for Laboratory Hematology (ISLH) and International Council for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH). I have been submitting and reviewing papers to International Journal of Laboratory Hematology (IJLH) as an Associate Editor as well. Also I do serve for as a Chair for Molecular Analysis Committee and a member of Nomination Committee of ISLH.
