Dr. Jim Havrilla is the Senior Director of Data and AI at Pathnostics, a diagnostics solutions company. He got his start in academic research publishing his thesis work at University of Utah on a model used to create a map of constrained coding regions (CCRs) in the human genome, and went on to publish Phen2Gene and PhenCards, and other works in ML as a Bioinformatics Scientist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He leverages his research background to translate complex data into actionable insights and bridge the gap between experimentation and application. As a technology leader at Pathnostics, Jim builds data capabilities and solutions that transform how organizations operate and power the development of products that solve real-world problems. Over the past few years, he has led data and AI initiatives that deliver measurable results for internal stakeholders, providers and patients, and the research community.
