Yijin Gu is a Chief Technologist in the Department of Pathology at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. As a Technical Supervisor of the Molecular Pathology Laboratory, she specializes in molecular oncology technology. She holds an M.M. degree in Pathology and Pathophysiology from Naval Medical University and received professional training in molecular pathological technology at the Eastern Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital.
Yijin Gu is licensed as a Chief Technologist by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China and has extensive accreditation in molecular diagnostic techniques. She has first authored or co-corresponding authored more than 10 papers, with a cumulative impact factor exceeding 20. Additionally, she has participated in several projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, both as a principal investigator and a key team member. In recognition of her innovative work, she was awarded the second prize in the 2025 "Guangci Jin Guang Clinical Innovation Award" presented by Ruijin Hospital.
