I earned my PhD in Molecular Genetics from Brunel University London, where I investigated alternative lengthening of telomeres in BRCA1 defective cells, focusing on genome instability and DNA repair pathways. My postdoctoral training at Mayo Clinic has been centered on enhancing the maturity of induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes for use in drug screening and disease modeling. In addition my work includes efforts in improving the diagnosis of genetic disorders.
