Fellow in Molecular Genetics Pathology
MD Anderson Cancer center
Jacksonville, Florida, United States
I am a physician-scientist with an MD, PhD, MPH currently pursuing a Molecular Genetic Pathology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center—one of the world’s leading institutions in cancer diagnostics and research. My journey has been shaped by a passion for discovery, precision, and pushing the boundaries of what pathology can achieve.
I earned my medical degree from Ibrahim Medical College, University of Dhaka, and my MPH from Texas A&M University, where I deepened my understanding of population health. My PhD from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston focused on infectious diseases and genetics, and was supported by multiple awards for academic excellence, research, and teaching.
Along the way, I’ve built a broad-based research portfolio across molecular genetics, hematology, oncology, infectious diseases, and bioinformatics—bridging the gap between clinical medicine and cutting-edge science. I’ve trained in genomics, data analytics, and digital pathology through leading programs at UTHealth, Purdue–IBM, and the University of Florida.
As a member of various national and international organizations, I stay engaged with the evolving landscape of pathology. I am committed to a career that leads innovation, drives transformation, and advances the future of modern pathology through visionary leadership and scientific impact
