Dr. Zhang is an Associate Professor at University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Clinical Molecular Bioinformatics Director of Diagnostic Molecular Pathology and Human Genetics division. She has participated in a great number of hematological malignancies research projects and published a portfolio of high quality, peer-reviewed papers. Dr. Zhang is also a contributor to bioinformatics related education and clinical practice for professional organizations. Her work focues on large-scale genomic data including design and implementation of bioinformatics pipelines in NGS testing, improve the efficiency of data processing and analsyis, and promoted bioinformatics methodologies into clincial practice. Her goal is to enhance clinical implementation of genomic testing and ultimately devoted to better patient care.
