Sam Harvey is currently the 2025-2026 Constance A. Griffin Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and will be joining the faculty as an assistant professor in the Johns Hopkins Pathology Department, Division of Molecular Pathology in July 2026. He earned his MD PhD from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL in 2021. He completed the AP/CP pathology residency at Johns Hopkins in 2025 with board certification in AP and CP. His graduate studies focused on the role of alternative splicing in the epithelial-mesenchymal transition and cancer metastasis. His current professional interests include molecular/digital pathology and healthcare policy/regulation in the molecular pathology space. He has served as a junior member on both the AMP Clinical Practice and Professional Relations Committees and is a member of the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Working Group.
