Dingani completed medical school in Malawi before pursuing a PhD at Florida State University on Epstein–Barr virus (EBV)–mediated oncogenesis. He trained in AP/CP pathology at the University of Rochester, followed by fellowships in hematopathology at Mass General Brigham and molecular genetic pathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center (current). His research focuses on the role of EBV in modulating the tumor microenvironment and driving lymphoma progression.
