Krasimira Rozenova, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Yale University. She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP), hematopathology, and molecular genetic pathology. She completed residency training in AP/CP at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester), followed by subspecialty training in hematopathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and molecular genetic pathology at Yale University/ Yale New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Rozenova's academic and clinical work bridges hematopathology and molecular diagnostics, with a particular focus on integrating next-generation sequencing and other advanced molecular techniques into the diagnosis and classification of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. Her research interests include the molecular characterization of lymphoma, the application of emerging technologies to identify alterations that drive neoplastic processes, and the use of short tandem repeat (STR) genotyping.
