Anna Yemelyanova, M.D. is a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. She serves as a molecular and surgical pathologist and is a chief of gynecologic pathology at New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York, NY. Dr. Yemelyanova is an active member of the Association for Molecular Pathology, where she has served on several committees and contributed to various educational activities. She graduated from the Russian State Medical University, Moscow, Russia. After relocating to the US, she completed residency in Anatomic and Clinical pathology at Washington Hospital Center, Washington DC, followed by fellowship in gynecologic pathology at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD and molecular genetic pathology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. Her research focuses on development of diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive biomarkers of endometrial and ovarian carcinoma.
