Dr. Harrison Tsai is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Boston Children's Hospital and at Mass General Brigham. He serves as the Associate Director of Genomic Data Sciences for the Boston Children's Hospital Laboratory for Molecular Pediatric Pathology and as the Associate Director of Molecular Informatics for the Brigham and Women's Hospital Center for Advanced Molecular Diagnostics. His clinical and research interests focus on development and application of bioinformatics to enhance understanding, characterization, and diagnostics within molecular genetic pathology, particular for hematologic malignancies. Dr. Tsai completed medical school training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, an anatomic pathology residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and a fellowship in the Harvard Medical School Molecular Genetic Pathology Training Program. Prior to medicine, Dr. Tsai received a PhD in mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley, was an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Cornell University, and was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs within the quantitative strategies group for Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities.
