David T. Miller, MD, PhD
Dr. Miller is a Medical Geneticist at Boston Children's Hospital, and an Associate Molecular Pathologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. As a Clinical Molecular Geneticist, he has extensive experience interpreting chromosomal microarray, exome/genome sequencing, and gene panels for germline cancer predisposition. I have published numerous articles on the topic of clinical genetic testing, including diagnostic yield and clinical utility for chromosomal microarray and exome sequencing.
He has led or served on several national committees and advisory boards, including: Co-Chair of the American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) Secondary Findings Maintenance Working Group; Chair of the ACMG Professional Practice and Guidelines Committee); Member of ACMG’s Board of Directors; and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of ACMG’s journal, Genetics in Medicine.
Dr. Miller is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, completed a residency in Pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and residency/fellowship in Clinical Genetics and Clinical Molecular Genetics at Harvard Medical School. He is board-certified in Clinical Genetics and Clinical Molecular Genetics.
