Description: Polygenic risk scores are a promising approach in preventive health management, but implementers must navigate multiple decisions, many with ethical dimensions, in designing clinical reports. The well reported differential performance of the scores across groups is one issue to be grappled with. I will outline many of these decisions, drawing on experiences from large scale implementation projects, and stakeholder perspectives.
Learning Objectives: - Participants will understand the need for a core set of decisions in the clinical reporting of polygenic risk scores - Participants will appreciate the ethical dimensions of clinical reporting of polygenic risk score decisions
