Description: In this session, we will explore the critical role of diagnostic stewardship in clinical microbiology and its impact on patient care. With the increasing availability of multiplex panels and molecular testing to replace culture or antigen based tests – it is important to understand strategies to implement while keeping in mind resource utilization, patient population, and cost effectiveness.
