Description: This presentation will describe our work developing methods for rapid epigenomic classification of acute leukemia using real-time nanopore sequencing. Attendees will learn how epigenomic classes in acute leukemia compare to existing pathologic and molecular categories, and how real-time leukemia classification can integrate with and expand existing diagnostic workflows. Opportunities for future development of real-time long-read sequencing with nanopore for acute leukemia and other blood cancers will also be discussed.
