Description: This session will present a groundbreaking approach to classifying acute leukemia (AL) using genome-wide DNA methylation profiling combined with machine learning. The new framework allows for rapid and accurate classification of AL, overcoming the limitations of traditional diagnostic methods that require multiple tests. The session will also highlight how this rapid classification tool, implemented with Nanopore sequencing, can generate clinically actionable results in real-time, offering a promising solution for both routine clinical use and research.
