Description: The development of robust and reliable bioinformatic pipelines is seen throughout the field of molecular pathology to analyze NGS data and other large datasets. In the development of bioinformatic pipelines, considerations to quality and robustness of the pipeline must be considered including a way to identify the appropriate tools that should be utilized. This session will explore the development of bioinformatic pipelines within the ISO regulatory framework and approaches for benchmarking methods.
