Description: It is undebatable that there is a serious need for a more comprehensive understanding of molecular changes contributing to normal development, cellular response, and disease. Multiomics is a new approach where data from different omic strategies such as genomes, proteomes, transcriptomes and epigenomes are combined to present a more holistic understanding of biology and disease. In this session, speakers will address how proteomics, transcriptomics and epigenomics can be utilized to enhance our understanding of the normal and altered states of an organism and how to translate that into new treatment strategies
